Hello Guys

Hey Guys!

This week has been better than the last. Still homesick, but I guess  that'll never go away. I do know one reason why…I was loved and  cared for by a loving family and super friends that I miss and love too. I had it good at home—this is new and different and not a lot love and  care for me yet.

We had the opportunity to teach at Concordia Catholic University. We  taught about the restoration. Everyone in attendance all seemed to be  paying attention. We taught about the plan of salvation and drew it out  on the board so the plan spelled L O V E. I'll include a picture below of what that looked like. At the end when we offered our Book of  Mormon, 3 people took one! I also gave them our number but no one  has reached out to us yet… but it's the seed we definitely planted! We  have heard some strange ideas people assume about our religion. Or  thing they don't quite understand or have taken out of context. You  can message me if you want to know more. It's WACK!

An older lady named Felica let us into her house because she felt bad  for the “white boys” freezing outside. It was crazy how it all worked  out. But Felicia had been visiting her mom. Who got in a bad car  wreck and is pretty messed up—it was really hard to see. She's a  sweet old lady, I can't remember her name, but her daughters Felicia  and Shardae, were just visiting and we happen to knock on their door  while they were there. They said they were trying to figure out religion.  She said that she definitely finds it suspicious that it all worked out  how it did. We have met with them 3 days in a row after. It has been  awesome to see how happy they are to see us. Felicia says she's  overbearing but she loves to talk and she doesn't hold back. She  asked the hard questions and we have been able to answer them and  she says wow, other missionaries from other churches can't answer  these.... so we've been killing it!

We had a ward Christmas party and we had 3 nonmembers show up.  It was cool. But the Muslim family said they're just trying to get free

food. Which I mean good for them they said they have loved getting  to see the other religions and we've been there favorite so far.  Hopefully they are not just saying that because of the food. Overall  good week!

This coming week probably will be slow because Felicia and Shardae  are going back home for a week so we won't get to teach them this  week. So hopefully we find someone else to inspire. I love it and it  does strengthen me and bring me encouragement. That's just been  the highlights. It has been hard getting used to things, but I can  promise you if you pray God will comfort you. If you pour your heart  out to him. Anyways that’s my invitation to you all. Pray Pray Pray! It  will help you! I hope you guys all have a good week! If you have any  questions ask. Love you all!
