Merry After Christmas Email
Merry Christmas Everybody!
This week we weren't able to do much. It snowed only two feet and they said we can't drive for two days—a day for each foot…? We had to just sit inside and do Facebook work. But I do have a few stories to share.
This week we met with a member and after it was kind of late, my companion didn't want to go visit her. I said I feel like we should. When we got there, we started teaching Neveah, who is a less active member, and the only one in her family. Her mom was listening in as she was making dinner. She came over and started to say how she has broken a Jehovah Witness’s testimony and she said she could break ours too. A challenge is good, right? She said for some reason she's going to read the Book of Mormon from front to back and mark it up and then present us with questions. So alright—here we go! Neveah said she'd give her mom $100 if she does read it by February 13th. We will see what happens next, I guess that will be continued. Anyways that was cool!
Christmas was alright we had a really long fire side and people went on the stage and did their talents. It was just long but the dinner was good. I had an exchange with Elder Reyes. He is in a Spanish area and I'd say he's one of my fav MDM elders.
Nothing too much going on here. People really aren't too interested in us and think we're crazy for being out in the cold. Christmas day we went caroling and 3 people were interested and they couldn't believe people actually sing carols on Christmas. Anyways I'll talk to you guys next week, I hope Christmas for you guys was good. LOVE YOU.
Pictures for this week.
