Farm Hand

This week was awesome! So much to talk about! The Lord blessed us  big time. We have 4 new people this week alone! That’s unheard of  for this area. I also went to Ypsilanti on an exchange with my boy,  Elder Jensen. The area we were in is really close to my old area and I  picked someone up for their area! The Lord blessed us a ton this  week.

Another experience I had was we visited a member who was  struggling with the loss of her son who died a year ago. Elder Jensen  said he felt like he should let me talk, which surprised me. I was able  to share my families experience with Abbie when she passed, the  spirit was strong there and I told her how when times are hard all we  can do is put our trust and faith in the Lord. I can promise all of you  that when times are hard, take time to pray and talk with your  Heavenly Father, he will bless you :))

Alma 37:37; Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and he will direct  thee for good; yea, when thou liest down at night lie down unto the  Lord, that he may watch over you in your sleep; and when thou risest  in the morning let thy heart be full of thanks unto God; and if ye do  these things, ye shall be lifted up at the last day.

For the rest of the week I am now a farm hand

This is a wild story. 2 months ago in Ann Arbor, myself and Elder  Reyes met this lady at Sam's Club. She said, hey Elders, come over  to Chelsea, momma will take care of you (I was serving in Ann Arbor  at the time). She referred to herself as a missionary momma, basically  a self referral, haha. She's not a member, but I plan on helping her get  there. So, 2 months later I get reassigned to Chelsea and Elder Reyes  to Adrian. Then Elder Reyes came up for the exchange and we knew  we had to go visit this lady, so we did and it was epic. She gave us a  tour of her farm and gave us 24 fresh eggs. We got to hold chicks and  ducks, it was wild. I also am now gonna do service there and help  around. I'm really looked forward to it and I'm either a cowboy or a  self appointed farm hand.  You will see those pictures below.  God blessed me a lot this week and I know he can for you too! Don't  forget to pray on top of all that, Brother Brad Wilcox gave us an  incredible devotional and there is so much I could talk about, but I'll  add it next week.

The question for the week is, what is the most quoted scripture in all  of General Conference? If you know, send it to me or email me and if  you're right, you will get a letter from me.

Til next week - Elder Kendrick, Chelsea, Michigan
