I Got Shot At
Well another week.
It was a good week! We met with a lot of members and gave a blessing to one. It was a surprise, but a welcome one. It was funny because I was just talking to my companion, Elder Olsen about being worthy and ready for administering blessings earlier in the day, and well!
It was good to be worthy and prepared! The spirit was strong and it was good for my 2nd blessing
We picked up a new person named Lee this last Sunday. She is elect and was busy, but she really wants to talk to us. We also went to a lady named Linda for service, we walked her dogs. She was super excited to see us, she loves missionaries, but isn't a member.... just like Marcia. We went to Marcia’s farm this week and sadly no pictures because we were busy. I had a killer dinner at the farm, but stay tuned for my friends, we’re working on them. We also called Larry and shared this scripture; Mosiah 24:14, And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions.
I can promise all of you guys that this mission hasn't been the easiest thing I've done, but the more I've relied on the Lord, the more he has blessed me and strengthened me through my trials and I know He can do the same to you.
For the subject of the email, I did get shot at, and hit twice, once in the shoulder and one in the back. You can see one of the bullets hit a window..... haha. Good thing it was a "nerf gun", the member suggested I make that my email subject. I hope everyone is doing well and thank you for all the prayers.
Stay safe!
