I Love Being A Missionary
I had an awesome week!
We had many service opportunities this week and I love it. It's fun to help people especially when they don't have time or are unable. I'm very grateful I get to help them.
I did get to go to the farm and drive a tractor. It was lots of fun and they said they are gonna teach me some more farm stuff. We also got a lot of eggs....
We met some incredible members this week. One lady who was the first Black Captain on a battleship gave us lots and lots of food. She showed us into her barn and there she had 3 Corvettes and 2 Camaro’s, mind blown. She also has a Bad Boy lawn mower, she's business.
We also found a geo cache, which was cool. I had an exchange with the DL (District Leader), it was a good time. I do want to say I love being a missionary, even though Chelsea isn't an area where people are super open minded. We met lots of cool people and can help them.
We had a good Lesson with Larry and he started to tear up and say thank you. The spirit can touch me, you and everyone. It doesn't take much. It can take just being a friend to someone, being a Christ like example, doing service, carrying each other burdens, doing any sort of missionary work or simply just being there for someone.
Mosiah 2:17 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.
Have a good week! Thanks for all your support and prayers!
