Another week, another win for Jesus. These past 2 weeks were great. As I was reflecting on what I learned and what to write in this email, I thought about how each week that goes by, I experience a lot of things and I try my best to learn from it. This week we had a district council on being more bold and simply stating our purpose and telling the people we interact with exactly why we are there. As I did this more boldly, the Lord provided so many more people for us. I seriously couldn't believe how many more people who were actually solid, starting talking to us. As of this week, we now have 4 on date for Baptism and 3 people came to Church. Our goal was only 1. So it was exciting to see how one little change like that effected our work so much. I wonder what else there is to refine and how those "favorite sins" that President Nelson talked about, can really change it for us. Hello friends and family. As I become very close to my year mark, I can’t help but think on the things I’ve learned as I’ve been serving the Lord. I have seen many blessings and have seen how merciful the Lord really is. Time and time again, I see how obedience brings blessings and how at times it is hard to be. When we truly want to be obedient, God changes us. He changes our heart and like Alma teaches us, we have a "desire to sin no more." What a blessing it is to know that God literally can change us and help us put off the natural man. As of these last few weeks, I've seen lots of things and learned a lot. Dearborn is an interesting place and a lot of people want to talk. As I’ve been on my mission, I have come to dislike the phrase “I'm busy." People will make time for things they care about, thats how it’s always been. I am now in Dearborn Michigan. I can't say I'm a fan, but one thing is for sure it's ghetto, all of it. As of this week, General Conference was an absolute blessing, I could write a whale of all of the things I learned and wrote down. What a blessing it is to be a part of the true Church where we have a Prophet. This Conference was a game changer. As I've been on my mission, I've seen how ultimately Jesus Christ is the only person that can truly help people. We’re not converting or convincing people to "our church", we are bringing them to Jesus Christ’s true church. That's what is so special about President Nelson who taught about including the full name of the Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It’s His Church, and when we take Him out of it, it's a win for Satan.
