Potential
These past few weeks have been amazing. Our members have been extremely helpful with our friends and helping us achieve our purpose. Our purpose is to invite all to come unto Christ, by helping them receive the restored Gospel through:
-Faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement
-Baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost
-Enduring to the end.
Elder Nash came to our mission and he is amazing. He talked a lot about doing member work and how important it is. I've seen on my mission that the Lord will bless the area as us as missionaries have a good attitude and are ready, as well as the ward. Why would the Lord send more people into a ward if they weren't ready for them?
As I've been coming closer to coming home, one of the things on my mind is constantly being a disciple of Jesus Christ. Life is better that way and a mission isn't an excuse to stop or "take a break."
With that being said, this week I helped our friends realize their purpose, as in what God wants them to accomplish. Simply put, you have unlimited potential and God wants you to be the best version of yourself and I have seen how our friends want to improve. I've said in past emails how we all want to improve, if not in every aspect of our life. God will help us do it as we ask for his help. I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for the fact that God wants the best for us.
I'm grateful for all your thoughts and prayers. I made a goal this transfers to be better at emails. Feel free to hold me accountable.
