Road Map

Imagine you had everything you needed to know.
Imagine you knew the things that really mattered in this life.
Imagine you knew exactly what you needed to do to live the best life.  Imagine you had a road map to life.
No need to imagine, you have it,
You have this knowledge.
Think about that.

We have a goal in our zone to put our "mates on date". There's someone I have in mind  I could put on date. Hopefully.

We were meeting with our friend Ray this week and he told us he wishes he would've  known the things we knew when he was our age.

I thought about how truly lucky I am. How humbling that was. How I would've felt in pre mortal life as God tells me, I'll give you the opportunity to be a missionary for me. How  happy I must have been. To not only know the Gospel, but to be able to teach it?

In a recent talk I was reading "a voice of warning" by Elder Henry B Eyring. He says  this;

"Why should I speak to anyone about the Gospel who seems content? What danger is  there to them or to me if I do or say nothing?"

"Well, the danger may be hard to see, but it is real, both for them and for us. For  instance, at some moment in the world to come, everyone you will ever meet will know  what you know now. They will know that the only way to live forever in association with  our families and in the presence of our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, was  to choose to enter into the gate by baptism at the hands of those with authority from  God. They will know that the only way families can be together forever is to accept and  keep sacred covenants offered in the temples of God on this earth and they will know  that you knew. And they will remember whether you offered them what someone had  offered you."

“Hal, you knew. Why didn’t you tell me?”

D&C 1:4

"And the voice of warning shall be unto all people, by the mouths of my disciples, whom  I have chosen in these last days."

You have been chosen.
You have been preserved.

We are in the last days. What a privilege and honor it is to be here at this time, to be apart of his church and to be able to be working in the vineyard with the Savior.

Life, missionary work, being apart of His church, was never supposed to be easy.  President Holland has a quote.

"I am convinced that missionary work is not easy because salvation is not a cheap  experience. Salvation never was easy. We are The Church of Jesus Christ, this is the  truth, and He is our Great Eternal Head. How could we believe it would be easy for us  when it was never, ever easy for Him?"

Hebrews 13:6; So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me

The Lord is with us hand in hand. He's   with us every step of the way. That’s why we have the Plan of Salvation. He wants us to know how to come back to Him because He loves us.

I know God loves you and He wants you to come back to Him.

Ask Him if He has a plan for you.
Ask Him how much He loves you.
