Hey!   This week was a good one. For those of you who were wondering what the most quoted  scripture of all General Conference was, it's Mosiah 3:19: For the natural man is an  enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless  he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and  becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child,  submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the  Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father.   I love this scripture and it's a fiery one, but it's very true. If there anything I've learned,  the more of the natural man I put off, I find more joy in life and it's the little things too. This week was awesome! So much to talk about! The Lord blessed us  big time. We have 4 new people this week alone! That’s unheard of  for this area. I also went to Ypsilanti on an exchange with my boy,  Elder Jensen. The area we were in is really close to my old area and I  picked someone up for their area! The Lord blessed us a ton this  week.  Another experience I had was we visited a member who was  struggling with the loss of her son who died a year ago. Elder Jensen  said he felt like he should let me talk, which surprised me. I was able  to share my families experience with Abbie when she passed, the  spirit was strong there and I told her how when times are hard all we  can do is put our trust and faith in the Lord. Hey everyone,   This week went by fast. I had an awesome opportunity to go to the  Temple in Detroit this week with the Senior Couple. They are leaving  sadly, but we have a great relationship and it was such a blessing to  be able to go with them. I highly recommend everyone go to the  Temple!   I also got a hair cut this week..... so you'll see that in the photos. I  also went on an exchange this week. I went with the DL (District  Leader) and we met this.....interesting Star Wars guy. I got a free  poster from him. I don't think I need to explain it. The photo explains  it all.   We haven't had much luck here in Chelsea, but I am happy to report I  picked someone up for the Adrian area Elders. Hey everyone!  My first full week in Chelsea. One thing is for sure, this area is a lot  slower than in Ann Arbor. We're lucky if someone doesn't close the  door in our face out here. We did have a miracle this week though!   Some guy came to our church on Tuesday and was like, I wanna  come to church, so we called him and invited him to church. We're  not sure if he came to church because we haven't talked to him  since... but, either way it was cool.   I did give a talk in church this week. They texted me 2 days before  and were like, hey, give a talk on the Plan of Salvation. So, I was like,  bet. I really enjoy talking about the Plan of Salvation. It really is such a  beautiful plan and they definitely call it the Plan of Happiness for a  reason.
